Have leftover pulled pork and not sure what to do with it? Try this delicious BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza. It’s a quick and easy way to use up those leftovers, and you can get as creative as you would like. This is definitely something I have made using whatever we have in the fridge, so if you are out of Mozzarella cheese, and only have Colby Jack or White Cheddar, then use it. It will be delicious either way!
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pizza crust (or homemade if you prefer) *if not homemade, I prefer Aldi pre-made crust)
- 1 cup Pizza sauce (your favorite brand)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup leftover pulled pork
- 1/2 cup sliced red onion
- Favorite BBQ Sauce to Drizzle on top
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the pizza crust packaging. If using a homemade crust, preheat to 400°F.
- Prepare the Crust: Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Prebake: Place the crust in the oven for 5-10 minutes.
- Add Sauce: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Add Pulled Pork: Distribute the leftover pulled pork evenly over the cheese.
- Add Onions: Scatter the sliced red onion over the pulled pork.
- Add More Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake: Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Add BBQ Sauce: Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle your favorite BBQ sauce over the top.
- Serve: Slice and serve hot.
